■Product Details. This bag is a unique modification by Hender Scheme of the "Azuma bag," a bag unique to Japan that has been passed down since the Edo period. This is the "BIG" size. The entire bag is made of twill fabric that is a mix of cotton and jute. The loosely twisted yarn is coarsely woven to intentionally raise the fabric's nap, resulting in a three-dimensional, rough-textured fabric. The straps, brand tag, and corners of the bottom of the bag are made of leather that is typical of Hender Scheme. The rough texture and oriental atmosphere combine to create a bag that exudes a unique mood.
