Product Description
Masaki Tomabechi is a contemporary potter who mainly produces white, black, and turquoise based vessels with a texture like natural stone. He has created a special bowl for Chakra. Tomabechi, who is strongly influenced by Indian jewelry, expresses a spider web-like texture by pouring sumi ink into "kannyu," a crack created by the difference in shrinkage between the glaze and clay. The finished pot is a modern and sophisticated masterpiece with a rocky surface based on the expressive texture of pottery, random cutting on the sides, and Tomabechi's signature bright turquoise blue color. It can be enjoyed not only as a pot, but also as a stand-alone piece of art in a room as an interior decoration or an objet d'art. The bottom of the pot has holes for drainage, making it easy to adjust to the characteristics of the plant, such as dry or moist conditions, by changing the frequency of watering. This is a very nice product that would make a great gift.
