■Product Details.
Bowl-shaped tableware made by Masaki Tomabechi, a Banko ware artist active in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture.
Masaki Tomabechi creates contemporary pottery based on white, black, and turquoise. Influenced by Indian jewelry, his works are characterized by a technique called ``kanyu,'' which involves pouring ink into the cracks created by the difference in shrinkage rates between glaze and clay. It expresses the "spider web" pattern seen in turquoise.
The size is also recommended for tea bowls, small bowls, latte bowls, etc.
