Product Details.
Hender Scheme's espadrilles. The openings of these slip-ons open wide so that the instep can be seen. The insole is made of jute tape wrapped around the sole, and the upper is placed on the insole and stitched down. Only the jute (hemp) is produced overseas, but everything else is made in Japan. The upper fabric is an abstract pattern fabric produced by a tie fabric shop. The moisture absorbency of jute prevents steaming, so you can wear them comfortably with bare feet. Leather with "Hender Scheme" stamped on the heel. These sandals can be worn with denim or slacks, barefoot or with socks, and can be loved for a variety of occasions.
