Kamaboko sole is one of the standard soles that Hender Scheme has continuously used. The newly developed kamaboko Vibram sole is based on this. By using Vibram®'s proprietary NEWFLEX material, it is lightweight yet resistant to abrasion and provides high grip. On the bottom of the sole, the word ``shoes'' is expressed by the innumerable ridges and ridges, making it an aesthetically pleasing anti-slip feature. The upper is made of thick kip leather. The raw leather is expanded during the tanning process to create a soft and thick finish. The surface is also coated with rubber to give the leather a firmer feel.
