Paper moon lamp Asano Shoten, a long-established chochin manufacturer with over 100 years of history in Gifu's castle town. This lamp was developed in collaboration with designer Shigeru Uchida, and is a fusion of chochin technology and a modern look.

A nice balance of Japanese textures and contemporary shapes. Easily blends in with both Japanese and Western-style rooms. Enjoy the gentle light that filters through the Japanese paper.

Bulb: 1 E17/25W mini-bulb included.

Long-established manufacturer of traditional Gifu chochin, which have been produced in the castle town of Gifu since the Edo period.
Gifu chochin, produced one by one by skilled craftsmen, are one of Japan's unique traditional handicrafts, made of transparent thin Japanese paper or silk cloth and decorated with delicate autumn grasses and landscape patterns. Using techniques handed down from generation to generation, Gifu Chochin produces new products that blend in with modern lifestyles.

Before ordering

Cancellation of orders

As a rule, cancellations after the dispatch completion email has been sent are not accepted.

Although we make every effort to manage our stock, we reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to keep the ordered product in stock for an unavoidable reason.

Limit on number of purchases

The number of purchases may be limited for certain products. Orders from multiple accounts that appear to be from the same person, or orders that appear to be using a BOT, may be cancelled or reduced in quantity.

Returns and exchanges

However, in the unlikely event that the product is damaged or defaced, or if you receive an item that is different from your order, please contact us using the Contact Us Form within 7 days of the delivery date. We will respond at our expense.

If a replacement can be secured, the product will be replaced.
If a replacement cannot be secured, a refund will be made.

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

If more than 8 days have elapsed since the arrival of the goods
When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.

About the indicated prices
