■Product Details.
The " Asano Shoten " lamp Asano Shoten, a long-established lantern manufacturer with over 100 years of history in a castle town in Gifu. Developed in collaboration with designer Shigeru Uchida, this lamp blends traditional lantern-making techniques with a modern aesthetic.

It strikes a lovely balance between traditional Japanese textures and contemporary design. It blends seamlessly into both traditional Japanese and Western-style rooms. Enjoy the soft light filtering through the washi paper.

Handcrafted one by one by skilled artisans, Gifu lanterns are a unique traditional Japanese craft featuring delicate designs of autumn grasses and mountain landscapes rendered on translucent, thin washi paper or silk fabric. Drawing on techniques passed down through generations, we create new products that blend seamlessly into modern lifestyles.

Order Cancellation

Returns and Exchanges
