This eau de toilette was created in collaboration with German composer Max Richter.

The fragrance was born from a dialogue between the composer Max Richter, his creative partner Julia Mahr, and Comme des Garcons Parfums representative Adrian Joffe.

This time, the fragrance is conceived as a medium of "memory," and is inspired by elements connected to Richter's life and work. The top notes are smoky and spicy with cade and cumin, with a touch of glossy ylang-ylang. The middle notes blend the pungent aroma of black pepper and pimento berry with the softness of marigold. The last note is deep and lingering with cedarwood and vetiver.

The fragrance centres on objects ties to Richter's life and work: Graphite, Vetiver, Piano Soundboard Cedar, Violin Bow Rosin, Transistor and Magnetic Tape.
