Autumn/winter items have been arriving one after another from AURALEE, and among them are two types of shirts with similar names.
WASHED FINX TWILL SHIRT and WASHED FINX TWILL "BIG" SHIRT.
Whether or not BIG is added to the name. And what are the differences in terms of construction?
I would like to take a closer look and compare the photos.

① The collar is different.

The shirt on the left with BIG has a slightly smaller collar. On the other hand, those without BIG have a slightly larger collar.
Also, those without BIG have a plastic part called a collar stay on the back of the collar.
It's easy to put on and take off, but if you leave it on, the collar stretches out and you can wear it for a more formal look.

② The pitch of the buttons is different.

The shirt with BIG has a narrower button pitch. On the other hand, the one without BIG has a slightly wider button pitch.
Although it's a slight difference, BIG feels a little more casual.

③The pockets are different.

The shirt with BIG has a large pocket on the left chest, but the shirt without BIG has no pocket design.

④The sleeves are different.

The one with BIG has one cuff button. On the other hand, those who don't have BIG have a 2-button closure.
If you look closely, you can see that the way they tack is different.
The BIG one has a wide width with two tucks, while the one without BIG has three finely designed tucks.
BIG is a simple construction, and those who don't have BIG feel like it has a well-built specification.

⑤The yoke is made differently.

The construction of the yoke that connects the shoulder and back panels is also different.
The one with BIG is wider in height. On the other hand, those without BIG are made narrower to fit the body.
Another feature of the one without BIG is that it is made with a split yoke that reduces the tension of the fabric.

⑥Different silhouette
Below are the actual measurements of the two shirts.

The shirt without BIG is priced slightly higher.
BIG seems to use more fabric, so why is it more expensive? I often get asked this question,
Actually, BIG is not bigger, and the one without BIG is slightly more elaborately made.
