Differences between two classic AURALEE shirts. - WASHED FINX TWILL

AURALEE's classic WASHED FINX TWILL series of shirts.
Men's long-sleeved shirts includeTwo similarly named shirts exist.

WASHED FINX TWILL SHIRT と WASHED FINX TWILL "BIG" SHIRT。

With or without BIG in the name? And what is the difference in terms of construction?
I would like to show you a photo comparison.

(i) Collar is different.

The BIG on the left has a slightly smaller collar. In contrast, the one without BIG has a slightly larger collar.

Those without the BIG also have a plastic part called a colour stay on the back of the collar.
It is easily detachable, but if left on, the collar stretches tightly and can be worn in a formal manner.

(ii) The pitch of the buttons is different.

BIG has a narrower button pitch. In contrast, those without BIG have a slightly wider button pitch.
Although there is a slight difference, BIG feels a little more casual.

(iii) Different pockets.

The BIG has a larger pocket on the left chest, while those without the BIG do not have a pocket design.

(iv) Sleeves are different.

The BIG has a single cuff button. In contrast, the one without BIG has a two-button fastening.

Also, if you look closely, you can see that the tacks are taken differently.
The one with BIG is wider and has two tucks, whereas the one without BIG is designed with three finer tucks.
The BIG is a simple construction, while the one without the BIG feels more like a dress shirt or formal shirt, with well-made specifications.

(5) The yoke is made differently.

The yoke connecting the shoulder and back panels is also made differently.
The BIG is wider in length and width. In contrast, those without BIG are narrower to fit the body.
Another feature of those without BIG is the split yoke, which is made to reduce fabric sticking.

(vi) Different silhouettes.

Below are the actual measurements of size 5 for the two shirts.

The BIG has slightly larger shoulders, but when it comes to the sleeve length, they are almost the same. In fact, surprisingly, there is no big difference in the overall silhouette.

(vii) Different prices.

The shirts of those without the BIG are priced slightly higher.

Why is BIG more expensive than BIG? We are often asked why the BIG one is more expensive, when in fact the BIG one is not bigger, and the one without the BIG is a little more elaborate.
