Made in Japan sneakers produced in Kurume, where the rubber industry has been flourishing since ancient times. The name SHOES LIKE POTTERY comes from the fact that it is baked in a kiln like pottery. The rubber tape wrapped around the sole is embossed with rope patterns one by one, giving each piece a unique look, just like pottery. In addition, the rubber seams are secured with a blue logo mark that resembles sealing wax, creating a more distinctive design.

"RED; Rack dyeing"
We use a scale insect dye called lac. Vegetable dyeing often has pale shades, but deep and dark shades are expressed by dyeing it repeatedly. Many scale insect dyes, such as cochineal, are used to color foods, and are famous for ketchup.

*What is the Vulcanize manufacturing method?
Another name is vulcanization method. This is a very rare manufacturing method that can only be produced in very few factories in Japan. The biggest feature of this manufacturing method is that in the final step, the rubber is placed in a kiln called a vulcanizer (the sulfur mixed in the rubber undergoes a chemical reaction). Shoes produced using this manufacturing method have the advantage of having supple and soft soles, being durable and hard to break, and maintaining a beautiful silhouette. Above all, the exquisite and beautiful quality of the craftsmanship that can only be created by skilled handiwork is appealing.

Cancellation, returns and exchanges

Before ordering

As a rule, we do not accept returns or exchanges of products for reasons attributable to the customer, such as "it's not what I imagined" or "the size doesn't fit." If you have any questions or concerns, please consult our staff first.

The colour and texture of the products may appear slightly different depending on the device and environment used.
The dimensions given in the product description may have slight deviations.
The product may have minor scratches and scuffs that are unavoidable during the manufacturing process.

Cancellation of orders

As a rule, cancellations after the dispatch completion email has been sent are not accepted.

Although we make every effort to manage our stock, we reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to keep the ordered product in stock for an unavoidable reason.


Limit on number of purchases

The number of purchases may be limited for certain products. Orders from multiple accounts that appear to be from the same person, or orders that appear to be using a BOT, may be cancelled or reduced in quantity.

Returns and exchanges

However, in the unlikely event that the product is damaged or defaced, or if you receive an item that is different from your order, please contact us using the Contact Us Form within 7 days of the delivery date. We will respond at our expense.

If a replacement can be secured, the product will be replaced.
If a replacement cannot be secured, a refund will be made.

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

If more than 8 days have elapsed since the arrival of the goods
When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.
