■Product Details.
This crew neck jumper pays homage to the pattern from Ben Nicholson's work, which is the theme of this season's collection.

Materials and fabrics
Made of fine kid mohair mixed with wool and nylon. It is knitted using a long-fur yarn called Tam Tam yarn. Compared to wool, mohair, which is Angora goat hair, has smaller scales (scales on the surface of the fibres), giving it a smooth, soft texture and an elegant sheen. After the fabric is knitted, it is shrunk in order to blur the colour boundaries by raising the hair and to give it a worn-in look. (Usually, the raising process is carried out after the shrinking process.)

Design.
Cardigan in jacquard with a pattern that pays homage to the work of Ben Nicholson, the inspiration for the collection. V-neck and five-button front with luxurious buttons. The delicate fur material and colouring is fun to wear and can be peeked out through the outerwear.

Ben Nicholson (1894 -1982).
British abstract painter. In his early years, his work was similar to Paul Cézanne and Cubism. Later, he joined the Seven and Five Society, Unit One and Astraxion-Cléation, and moved towards abstraction. For his abstract works, he produced thoroughly geometric abstractions, including white sculptural reliefs. Many of his works are not merely paintings, but contain a great deal of sculptural elements, and many of them have a restrained use of colour, such as white and pale colours. He was one of the strong leaders of British abstract painting.
