A backpack from MONOLITH's limited-edition METEOR BLACK series.

"METEOR BLACK" means "the black of a meteorite."For MONOLITH, “space” holds a special significance. This is partly related to the “monolith”—the stone pillar that appears in the 1968 film *2001: A Space Odyssey* (Japanese title: *2001: A Space Odyssey*) directed by Stanley Kubrick, serving as a guide during humanity’s dramatic evolution and turning points. However, the literal translation of “monolith”"a single block of rock" or "a single stone pillar." Minerals are naturally occurring single compounds with nearly consistent chemical compositions and crystal structures. Given that they exist universally not only on solid planets like Earth but also as cosmic dust throughout the solar system and the Milky Way, "space" has become a core element of MONOLITH’s brand identity.

Inspired by the “meteorites” that frequently fall to Earth from space, MONOLITH has independently developed “METEOR BLACK”—an “ultimate black that is as close to gray as possible.”
This deep gray—so dark that it can appear black depending on the lighting—is a versatile shade that complements any color scheme the user chooses.

CODURA BALLISTIC fabric combines the durability of CODURA FABRIC—which is resistant to abrasion and tearing—with the lightweight properties achieved through hollow-core yarn technology. This high-performance 840×1680D nylon is coated with polycarbonate to enhance resistance to peeling and improve water resistance.

・ECO FABRIC 420D Nylon
Made from recycled waste materials, ECO FABRIC reduces raw material consumption and waste, and lowers the environmental impact compared to virgin nylon. All PRO, STANDARD, and OFFICE models feature a high-density 420-denier nylon lining.

YKK RC Zipper WATER-R
RC (RacquetCoil) was developed for bags and backpacks that require high abrasion resistance. It features a special coil shape that prevents thread wear and improves zipper durability. The WATER-R specification also provides water repellency. All models feature pull tabs made of TPU material, which offers both flexibility and superior strength.

・MAGNET POCKET
A magnetically secured pocket with a new design that makes it easy to quickly access your smartphone and other devices. The tab used to open and close the pocket is made of soft-touch silicone. A cable hole runs through the pocket and the main body.

・PC POCKET
The bag features a direct-access design that allows for quick and easy removal and replacement of your laptop during airport security screenings and other checks. It includes a padded laptop compartment that can accommodate a 16-inch laptop (up to 360 × 250 × 17 mm).

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

If more than 8 days have elapsed since the arrival of the goods
When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.
