・Materials and Fabrics
SUGARHILL’s original 14-ounce denim fabric is characterized by its uneven texture. It uses warp threads that have been rope-dyed with indigo and weft threads dyed khaki. Because the rope-dyeing process doesn’t penetrate all the way to the core of the warp threads, you can enjoy the color fading relatively early on. Additionally, while the weft threads are typically made of natural-colored yarn, they have been dyed khaki; this design ensures that as the fabric fades, it develops a deep, vintage-like fade.

・Design
A denim jacket reimagined based on the Levi’s 507XX. Inspired by vintage styles—often referred to as the “2nd Type”—it features pockets on both sides. The placket features three pleats, and the bar tacks securing the pleats have been reworked into oval-shaped stitches. Furthermore, the body pockets feature the iconic wine-glass-shaped design on both the inner and outer sides. In addition to the elbow patches extending from the cuffs, the tailored sleeves create a striking silhouette—this piece is packed with details that are quintessentially the brand’s signature.
