■Product Details.
Paraboot's classic Tyrolean shoes, MICHAEL.

This pair was created in 1945 to celebrate the birth of the grandson of the founder of Paraboot, and was named after him. Originally, Tyrolean shoes were hard specs with strong mountain and ethnic elements, but the MICHAEL was designed to be easy to wear on a daily basis by moderately eliminating these aspects.

The most popular and long-selling model in the world, with a traditional design that has remained unchanged for more than 70 years since its birth and matches contemporary styles.

About the materials
LIS WAXI LETHER, also known as squirrel leather, is a smooth leather with a high oil (wax) content. The oil becomes solid at room temperature, so when the leather is new, wax crystals called blooms adhere to the leather surface and float in white, which is a characteristic of squirrel leather. The high oil content makes the leather naturally water-repellent and also acts as a protective agent, making it highly durable.

About the manufacturing process
The Norwegian manufacturing method is used to make robust shoes for walking on snow-covered paths, such as mountaineering and ski shoes. The stitching that connects the upper to the sole comes outwards, which is a characteristic of this manufacturing method.

The seams are on the outside to help prevent water ingress, even in wet and snowy conditions.

◇Excellent durability.
The soles can be reupholstered for long-term use.

◇Comfort with a sense of stability.
The thicker sole and solid construction make it less tiring to walk for long periods of time.

UK6.5] Recommended for 25.5~26cm.
UK7] Recommended for 26.5~27cm.
[UK7.5] Recommended for 27.5~28cm.

*These shoes are larger than most leather shoes. As the upper stretches and the insole sinks with repeated wear, we recommend choosing a size that is slightly snug at first.
