About the hinges
The caulking parts that join the hinges together are carefully polished one by one to the very end by skilled craftsmen using a finishing method called 'grinding out', in which the parts are polished after being placed in plastic.

Lens shape
The 2-curve lens, which symbolises the NOCHINO?OPTICAL brand, is neither flat nor a common curve type finish. The beautifully curved surface has a shiny surface feel that allows the wearer to feel the vestiges of the hand-cut glass lenses of the past. The lens shape is also a classic style with a front thickness of 5 mm and temples of 4 mm, which have a delicate strength and weakness.

Dimming function
One of the brand's iconic points of reference is the UV-responsive, colour-changing, light-tinted lenses, which change from a light greenish grey in UV-free environments to a dark grey when they are UV-responsive.
