■Product Details.
An upgraded version based on the brand’s signature SANSUI model. The front panel thickness has been increased from 5mm to a substantial 8mm. It features a Bosslington-style design that is slightly larger than the signature NOCHINO model.

The added thickness helps reduce glare from side angles while highlighting the glamorous translucency and unique sense of luxury inherent in plastic frames. While maintaining a bold presence, the inner surface of the front frame features a hand-chiseled finish—a meticulous, labor-intensive process—to create subtle variations in texture. Additionally, for those planning to use prescription lenses, this design helps conceal the thickness of the lenses.

・About Hinges
The rivets that secure the hinges are polished using a technique called "kenidashi"—a process in which the metal is polished to a mirror finish after being set in plastic—and are meticulously polished one by one by skilled craftsmen right up until the very end.

・Lens
The two-curve lenses that symbolize the NOCHINO OPTICAL brand feature a finish that is neither flat nor typical of standard curved lenses. Their beautiful curves and luminous surface evoke the feel of traditional hand-cut glass lenses of yesteryear. The lens shape also features a classic style with a delicate interplay of thickness, boasting a 5mm front thickness and a 4mm temple thickness.

・Dimming function
Featuring photochromic lenses—one of the brand’s iconic features—that change color in response to UV light. They remain clear in environments without UV light and turn gray when exposed to UV light.
