Materials and fabrics
Knitted from a combination of yarns made from different materials, one of which is Tam Tam yarn, a kid mohair yarn with an excellent sheen and smoothness. This very rare and delicate material is harvested from angora goats less than a year old. This material has excellent moisture absorption and heat dissipation properties that keep you warm and dry. The other is a cotton and acrylic yarn spun using a technique known as silo compact spinning. The two materials are crossed to create a jacquard pattern, and only the mohair part is raised to create a knitted fabric with a three-dimensional effect.
Design.
This round-neck jumper is inspired by Max Ernst's 'Grattage' works from the 1920s, with abstract graphics that look like they have been scraped off and drawn as clothing.
Relaxed silhouette with room around the shoulders and body width. The length of the garment is balanced so that it does not become too long. Set-in sleeves. Neckline, sleeve tips and hem are switched to ribbing of the same material. The delicate woollen material and beautiful colours are fun to wear on their own or peeking out from outerwear.
